Job Title: Accountant

Job Description:

A small, very stable, and growing government contractor is looking to add an Accountant to our team.


  • Full Charge of all general ledger transactions.
  • Deltek experience a plus.
  • Government contracting experience.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements for a growing government contractor
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for the company
  • Help prepare Annual Budgets for the company
  • Assist with Audit processes and income tax return processes.
  • Other Accounting projects as assigned.


  • Minimum of five years of accounting experience.
  • Experience in working in a multiple entity accounting environment.
  • Proficient in Accounting Software including QuickBooks.
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of accounting transactions efficiently.
  • Minimum of 4 years of government contracting experience

  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment
  • Certified Public Accountant a plus.


  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Vienna, Virginia: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
